I'm going to camp over the summer and cannot bring hairdryers or hair straighteners, and i'm trying to find a way to wear my hair without using them.
My hair is neither curly or straight, but i have parts that are very curly and parts that are flippy and straight. I want to embrace those little curls since i would think it would be easier to make the rest of my hair curly rather than make them straight.
how can i curl my hair with only products? How can I make my hair curly without using heat?
oHHH hold on youtube :D
i love this girl :D !!
theres more on youtube just look around
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoZ2QGq0n鈥?/a>How can I make my hair curly without using heat?
srunch it!! :)
If you don't have curlers take sections of your hair (you pick the size of the sections) and twist them at night. Then hold the twists in places with hair pins. You can lay on your hair and everything. Then, in the morning when you take the twists out, your hair will be curly.
PS: you could also wet and braid your hair at night and then take it out in the morning, but I don't know if you want to take your chance with that since it's summer camp and the sun may frizz it out.
mouse, put mouse in your hair and scrunch it.
some people dont even need mouse, just water.
just scrunch it until it is dry or close to being dry,
or you could wear it in french braids and take them out when your hair dries, it will be wavy and cute :]
Cut one of those curling serums or mouses, and scrunch a generous amount into your hair while it's wet, and top off with some hairspray, let it dry. Leave it the way it is for a ';wet look';, or run a brush through it a little for a curlyier, dry look.
Also, braiding your hair before bed, especially when it's a little damp, and leaving it in overnight is a good way to get curls, or redefine them without heat. This is a great method also because you can get different kinds of curls by braiding small braids, large ones, or different styles of braids on different parts of your head for different kinds of curls when you wake up.
Try youtube for tutorials on different kinds of braids.
omg i know how u feel girl my hairs just like that! ok heres two ways
CURLY HAIR- if u can get ur hair wet some way or another spray bottle... shower... any way... bring mouse and gel!!!! when ur hairs wet apply gel/mouse to it and scrunch! apply as much as u like to get more curls or less....
WAVY #1- this is just like the scrunchy hair but dry! but just with mouse! and scrunch for a beachy wave.
WAVY #2- b4 u go to bed seperate ur hair in to 2 sections (ear to ear/ top and bbottom than to each pice twirl it to make a bun. it may look funny but when u take it out in the moringing = waves
you can try frizz-ease dream curls curl perfecting spray by john frieda collection i got it from walgreens
hair curlers//rollers
%26amp;%26amp; hair spray
you have hair just like mine! ok well what I do is at night before I go to bed I take a shower and then when I get out of the shower I comb my hair (but I don't worry about getting every tangle out) and then I put jell in my hair and bend over and scrunch it into my hair all over and then i put my hair into a bun on top of my head. It works for me every time. You can just by a cheep jell from like walmart or something. Or you could go to a salon and buy a curl cream. It's more expensive though.
use curlers O__o
scrunch it.
use a gel, and hairspray.,
braid your hair ..leave it over night while wet its a rally preety effect ... little braids .,, great for out doors
You can use curlers when your hair is wet.
Then just leave them in, maybe use some hair spray.
That should work for you.
put rollers in overnight.
they're extremely uncomfortable.
if you put them in when your hair is wet, but the morning, it will look like really curly, but combing or brushing them down with relax the curls.
then you can use hair spray or a styling product of your choice to hold them in place.
good luck.

How can I protect my hair from all the damage I do to it?
When I get up in the morning I either straighten or curl my hair and I do it most mornings. Sometimes when I get to school though my friend says my hair smells burned. Sure enough, it smells like it's been scorched. I turned my hair straighteners down from 230 to 190 degrees (and the same with my curlers) and it didn't make any difference. I now use heat protector spray and it still sometimes smells scorched. What can I do?How can I protect my hair from all the damage I do to it?
It's too hot for your hair. Use it in quick motions so your hair does not heat up too much. Before you go for another stroke fluff your hair to cool it down. Observe so you'll know the next time how much is too much heat for your hair.
Be careful! You might do permanent obious, ugly damage to your hair. How can I protect my hair from all the damage I do to it?
haha, just stop using all these tools and use moose or hair products
then once a week use neutrogena anti residue shampoo to get rid of all the stuff left over from products
get redken heavy cream treatment, it repairs hair heapsss
and use a good shampoo and conditioner like paul mitchell or biosilk, they are more expensive but not in the long run because they last so much longer as you only have to use a small blob the size of your thumb print. and if you feel that you dont have enough product to wash your hair, youre wrong, your hair isnt meant to feel slimy when you wash it and condition it with these shampoos and conditioners.

Nice hair styles??????
Ok so I have black layer hair, left side swept bangs, and permed straight hair. I really really need a good hair style tomorrow because I am going out with my crush and I do not want to appear plain, but also not too fancy and weird. Please if there is any nice hairstyles and INSTRUCTIONS, and if the hairstyle requires curly hair, I only have a hair straightener, so would you show me how to curl hair with a straightener? Please quick thanks.Nice hair styles??????

Which hair straightener is best to get from Target?
Just to mention: I live in Australia so it's kinda different. I dunno if they have the same products or not, I'm not sure.
I'm thinking of getting a hair straightener and I'm not sure which one to get. I was looking at the hair product section, and they had cheap flat irons, but at the same time expensive flat irons.
Yeah, my hair is straight, but you know, sometimes your hair isn't perfectly straight, and you wanna hold the hair in place. Please don't mention that I already have straight hair and getting a hair straightener is absolutely useless, because I think it's not. Straightening your hair doesn't look exactly the same as how my hair looked like in the first place. I also wanna curl my hair with it as well.
Note:
- I want something not too expensive, but really good and safe.
- I want a ceramic hair straightener.
- I want a flat iron suitable for my hair.
- I have black, straight hair.
Also, can you give me some tips to do when straightening hair?
Thanks to everyone who answers!
Please no bad comments.
Hope you can help,
Byee!

GHD's?
Yes they're expensive but they work well.
They also come with a dvd to show you how to curl and such.
But if your hair is striaght anyway, just go for some cheapish ones because they will probably give the same effect, except they won't curl aswell.. Maybe get some curlers for that?
Or try some hairstyles not using straighteners, like curling.

this gives a good effect, without damaging your hair.

The bedhead one..
its blue and has green lights for extra heatt,
Its 69.99 but its not bad for that good of a
straightener :]
bedhead or wet to straight.
vidal sassoon - wet to dry, no need to dry hair first and no need for a hair dryer. this ceramic hair straightener isn't bad for your hair. Although this does retail for approx $120.00, but lookout for this one on sale. there are special serums that you can buy to put into your hair before and after using your hair straightener, which both helps with moisture, and to keep your hair smooth and straight - this is my tip for when straightening your hair.
I hope this helps
1. Wash with a regular shampoo that will remove buildup or at least prevent it.
2. Apply a little bit of straightening gel before blow drying and in between towel drying.
3. Blow dry by taking sections at a time and with a flat brush- it takes a while to master exactly how to straighten accurately but it's worth it.
Best thing you could possibly do is take your self to Kohls and buy the classic CHI straightner. I dont swear buy it, but its gotten very good reviews. SEDU's are very good also. Just about as good as a CHI. Solia's are above the two, also very good. GHD, i'm not very sure about it but alot of people swear by it and have good reviews. Folica.com can tell you all about it.

How to straighten your hair with out a straightener for guys?
ok so when i get out of the shower i flick my hair and then my hair curls and its the ends of my hair to and i cant use a straightener because i don't have the money to but yeah any advice please. How to straighten your hair with out a straightener for guys?
Blowdry it.How to straighten your hair with out a straightener for guys?
don't let your hair dry naturally, as this is what is making your hair curl at the ends and probably making it frizz up.
blow-dry your hair while brushing and styling it and this should solve your problem : )

How can I curl my hair without the use of a curling iron, rollers, or a straightener? Pics Included!?
Okay here goes:
My hair is actually naturally very thick and really wavy...almost to the point of curly. Anyway, I got my hair cut to where it has lots and lots of layers. So this means I need to straighten it everyday. I'm getting quite bored with this. I can do flips with my straightener and even curl my hair with it, however I am not very good at it and have tried every tutorial on youtube to get it right. I do own a LOT of curling irons however they are all the wrong size/do not work. I have two 1.5'; curling irons, one 1/4'; curling iron, a 1'; curling iron that doesn't work, and a spiral curling iron that gets caught in my hair everytime i use it. Lately I have been looking for new things to do with my hair, and I saw a hairstyle I would like to try but have no idea how to do it without the proper tools. I thought about rollers however my hair gets very very poofy when it is in rollers. How can I do this hairstyle, without the use of a curling iron, rollers, or my straightener (seeing as how I can't use it very well)

How to curl your hair perfectly with straighteners ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k57daS_c
this should help. This is how I learned! How to curl your hair perfectly with straighteners ?
The thinner the straightener, the better the curl you are going to get. And you use it like a curling iron just curling smaller sections at a time then you normally would.
... I'd go buy a curling iron though. How to curl your hair perfectly with straighteners ?
Yes. Part the hair into much smaller sections, make sure the iron is HOT and as you're approaching the ends of the hair just flick your wrist to curl the hair. There!
umm...i always use a straightener to straighten hair and a curler to curl hair. I've tried using my curler to straighten my hair before, but I don't know how good a curl I'd get with my straightener. Good luck!
U HAVE THE PERSON THAT GAVE U THE LINK FOR YOUTUBE- THAT'S EXACTLY HOW TO DO IT! IT'S EASY IT JUST TAKES SOME GETTING USED TO AND SOME TIME.
