Curl hair with straightener?

i know how to do this..but whenever i run my fingers thru my hair the curls just..disappear? I was wondering if you new how to stop this...cause if i don't run my fingers thru my hiar then the curls are way to..u know? Also it only works on one side when i curl my hair. the other side gets a different type of curl. I tried curling it towards my face and away but towards my face doesn't work so don't suggest that. Hopefully you can help

Use some type of heat styling product. My favs for holding a straight iron curl are matrix iron in control and redkin spray starch!Curl hair with straightener?

Put a lot of hairspray on then wait for a lil bit then run your fingers through your hair. This should help from ruining the curl
