How do you curl your hair with a straightener?

does anybody know how to curl your hair with a straightener? How do you curl your hair with a straightener?
Okay it's really really easy, you just have to practice. So you seperate your hair into sections and pin it up. First, run your fingers behind your ears until they meet in the middle, take the hair above them and pin it up. Take the first strand of hair at the front, clasp the straightners at the root, get the bottom of the strand of hair and rap it round the closed barrel of the straightner once, then pull down as if you were straightening it. I know that is probably hard to understand but it's better to watch a video or tutorial on youtube. I would also suggest using heat protection spray because it can be really damaging, and finishing with hairspray.

Heres a video (not mine):

Hannah's got the right idea, but it's not that involved. You can wrap the hair around the straightener at the root and it won't curl until it gets to the end. So you grab a strand, put the iron plates around it, wrap the strand around the top plate so you've got hair wrapped around the top plate once, then clamp down and pull the flat iron through. I don't know how it works, but it does. That's how I styled my hair for my wedding.
