How do you curl your hair with a straightener?

I have a thick straighener about 2 inches. Is it possible to curl it with it being that thick? and how do you do it if so?How do you curl your hair with a straightener?
You can curl your hair in ringlets with a straigtener by wrapping small sections of hair around the tool and holding it vertically. Being 2 inches thick will make large curls, and it would depend on your hair type whether it would hold the curl. If you have fine hair it may not hold as well. I would put spray gel in your hair first and let it dry before curling to hold it better. How do you curl your hair with a straightener?

Its possible, but a smaller one would be better. Just pull it towards the end of your hair and then turn the iron under to curl your hair under. Its hard to do other types of curls though unless you are a total pro. My stylist has done it for me, but I cannot do it myself, just get a curling iron it will save you a ton of frustration.
so first straighten the piece you want to curl..

then go back to the top, clasp the piece with your straightener and curl around like 2 times. then pull the straightener down with your hair still around the straightner. unclasp your straightener and you should have pretty curls. you cannot get ringlets with a straightner

for that, try twisting your hair when it is wet...

As said above, a small one would be better, but you can do it. Just put your hair in the staighteners, like you would normally if you were going to straighten your hair, then twist it S-L-O-W-L-Y around and hold for a few seconds. Do this for all your hair. Remember, the smaller the section of hair, the tighter the ringlet, so take your time.
