How do you curl synthetic hair with straighteners?

i have clip in synthetic hair extensions and i tried to curl them with a strightener like i do with my real hair, but with my extensions it just falls back into place,

sadly, you don't...not unless you want crispy hair.





try using hair rollers and hot water.


you start by sectioning off the hair then rolling it in the rollers,have a pot of boiling water ready and simply dip the rolled hair in the water fir 30 seconds.

u can apply heat on synthetic hair it will start to melt u can curl human hair extensions though thts what i do

It's not good for the synthetic hair to be heated up. They'll melt together and look all gross and ratty. Maybe what your should try to do is braid it before you go to bed, put water on it, and brush it out in the morning with a very fine brush. It won't give you curls, but it will give it a sort of wave. It's a cute look and won't damage the extensions.
Synthetic hair won't respond the way real hair does to a curling iron or straightener. You shouldn't use heat on synthetic hair. It might melt it or alter it noticeably.





Actually, clip-in extensions made from real hair aren't terribly expensive. If you have a local beauty supply store like Sally's, you can probably find some real hair extensions that would be curlable.





Otherwise, I would say your best bet would be to wash the extensions and allow them to dry in the position you want them in--perhaps wrapped around a large curler. The bond that is formed when you allow hair to dry in a curl is stronger than the one you get using heat.
