Curl your hair with a straightener????

heyy well i have always heard from my friends and other people that you can curl your hair with a straightener. whenever i try it makes dents in my hair and it just looks horrible. does anyone know how to do this and make it look good, and like it would if you used a curling iron?Curl your hair with a straightener????

you have to use a smaller straightener... you wrap the hair you want to curl around the straightener once (not completely) and let it go down. there's a video that shows you how to do it on youtube.
Yes. It is way better than the old burn your skin curling iron.
you have to have a cetain curling iron to do this it has to a a cuve in it to cur you hair and your most likeley better off using a curling iron
You could try twisting a bit of hair around your finger, like a pin-curl, but instead of pinning it, put it in the straightener to set it with heat.

Yeah don't listen to them. You're just totally ruining your hair and you're ruining the whole point of a S-T-R-A-I-G-H-T-E-N-E-R. Understand? Straighteners are to STRAIGHTEN hair, not curl it!!! Use a regular curling iron. Sheesh. Dents in your hair is bad bad bad bad badddd. Don't do it again!
it really depends on what kind of straightener you're using. some just won't do that. I suggest a Chi. They're the best for stuff like that.

take it pull it all the way to your ends then roll it;


its simple.
you twist it while you straighten it
depends on wat size it is


is it a 1 2 inch or more


mi freind has a small one and it works really good


just use it like a normal curling iron
take small sections of your hair


then roll it in your straightener, make sure your straightener is 1 inch!!


then, when its rolled, hold it for like 10-20 seconds then let go


dont forget hairspray

you have to use the small ones though not those big fat very wide flat irons!
Sometimes I put some mousse in my hair and use my wet to straight straightener. I wrap parts of my hair around the straightener and then I just let it go. If that doesn't work you can always just flip your hair out, sometimes you just have a bad hair day. Can't do much about that. Try not to sleep with your hair wet, it doesn't help.
