How do you curl hair with straighteners?

Whenever I curl my hair with straighteners, it doesn't work properly. What's the best way to curl hair with straighteners that looks good and lasts?





By the way, I have relatively new FHIs (so it's not like I have really bad straighteners), and my hair is naturally wavy (but not curly nor straight).How do you curl hair with straighteners?

Also you can use hair mouse, and scrunch your hair which works well too
